Unfortunately, bike is not an option. It's for my brother and his wife. Not too keen on the overground, less regular than bus and there's a 35 stop right outside our flat. But cheers anyway.

How about boat? Apparently there's a summer service from Westminster to Richmond...

Probably slower, but would be awesome to commute by boat!
