Thanks so much to everyone who cheered me on during the women's final race. It was fucking incredible to be racing and have my name being screamed at me on nearly every corner. I felt like a celebrity and it really helped me keep pushing on (and more people were shouting my name than Juliet Elliott who was also in my group which made me feel pretty smug, ha).
It was an amazing race and I'm really chuffed to have placed 19th out of 39, especially since I only started training properly a month ago.
