there is an alu crimped colnago mtb listed as master here, if the one you are looking at is similar, then perhaps an alu master mtb?

I've had 2 of the maxim types, and made a third made from aelle into a porter bike
for the alu crimped ones, perhaps look for dream era catalogs and ther you may find something regarding where abouts on the bill it would have been, i think the first master mtbs were late 80's then made in small numbers up to the mid 90's
