Got a waffle maker for my birthday, here's last weekends attempt at chicken and waffles.
buckwheat waffle made with coconut milk and coconut oil, hot & spicy chicken breast fillet (shop bought because lazy), crispy bacon and I knocked together a maple syrup glaze with a little more coconut oil and honey jack daniels. bang fucking tidy
waffle was a little flatter than usual due to 100% buckwheat flour but tasted nice, will be less lazy and bother to separate eggs and fold in beaten egg whites rather than just mix it all together to make it a bit more fluffy. made leftovers with spare batter next morning with greek yoghurt, strawberries and leftover maple glaze. was equally delicious.
Waffles!
