I don't like it, and I only ever heard it in American in this sense and not in English usage, but oversee to mean 'accidentally saw' is, apparently, OK... http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/oversaw

Is this usage Australian English (article by Australian Associated Press)? I haven't heard it before. In UK English, it is plainly wrong. If not Australian, it is a very strange mistake.
