Wouldn't have used those rims, would have leaned towards some polished Hson TB14's or Archetypes and some 25 (or even 28c) tyres. Change the seatpost to a simple Kalloy one and probably would not have chosen the factory 5 chainring. But as you say, you built to what was available and affordable and it's your bike. It's great that you have put the time into reviving an old frame.
