I am selling my most recent "clean up project" (see https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/267662/) as I need room (and money...) for some new stuff I can ride myself (this one is too small). I bought it for the fun of bringing old and neglected bikes back to life, so now that's done, I'm selling it.
It concerns a very nice Francesco Moser, probably from the early eighties. Probably it's a 1982 or 1983 "Modello Gran Sport".
What makes this bike so interesting? It's old, in good state ànd it's in nearly original setup.
The bike is equipped with a complete Campagnolo Gran Sport gruppo (with Regina Oro freewheel) and has several pantographed parts (stem, seatpost, chainring). Cables are NOS from the mid-eighties, handlebar tape is the original Benotto and also pedal straps and saddle are original (Moser-logo on it).
I just have to put on the new Regina CX- chain I ordered (but didn't receive so far) and this one's ready to race.
Price? Considering the overall state of the bike, the nearly original setup, the NOS-parts and the hours and hours of cleaning I've putted into it, I am looking for SOLD but I'm open to offers.
