TL:DR!
Fair enough, how will you keep water out of the frame, holes look pretty big compared to housing? Silicone?

The hole is drilled at an angle and the cable housing just threads through tightly, I'm going to thread a slightly larger piece of rubber tubing to make the housing extremely snug which should keep any water out.
