I bought a Raleigh from Gumtree for £15. It's an old racer from mid to late 60's and not in bad nick to be fair.
It needed to have some work done on it, so I thought I'd buy it as another project and promise myself NOT to get attached to it like all my other projects.
When stripping it down, I removed the cotter pins and everything else.
Because of the age, I removed everything. Strip it, clean it, build it, sell it.
Have serviced the bottom bracket and headset, and now it's time to build this bad boy back up.
Can I find the cotter pins anywhere??!! No. I have a box of everything I removed, except the flipping cotter pins.
I know they have to be the exact same pins or it won't work. Is there any advice anyone has on this area for me in regards to buying new, and preferably , the correct pins.
I'll get some more pictures on here soon! Current pictures are of how I bought it.
