Picked up my Firebird yesterday - Matthias Herbst painted and finished it for me and did a great job. I would recommend him if anyone needed anything similar doing.
Started to throw the parts at it last night - so far this has needed 'adjustments' with the hammer (whacking the bridge / saddle bushing in) and drill (enlarging the pot holes after painting). I winced a little whilst belting it with the hammer...
Fairly long list of bits to complete now, the tricky bits are shaping the nut and dressing the frets, neither of which I have a lot of experience in doing; how hard can it be though?!
