'SON28 has a steel axle (delux is alloy), has a wider flange spacing than the delux so building into a stronger wheel and has slightly better low (very low) speed output for nightime off road and grovelling home at the end of a long day - it's not much heavier...'
Have you considered the Shutter Precision option? cheaper, lighter etc...
