Let me explain in more details -
WAs thinking to get custom cut extra thin 1mm carbon fibre rings, just the rings no teeth basically a cover with chainring bolt holes in them then epoxy them to a cheap road chainring. The only thing is that to get them for £35 I gotta get 5 which comes to £175 which is the price of an decent condition Sugino CHCD one.
My other option is to get a custom fibrelyte but thats £100, I think mquadro would be around €80 I think, if the aero one they quoted me was €110.
I cant decide on wether its a worthwhile investment making all the chainrings. Its not even about making a profit just would they hold the value at £50 each is what Im thinking..Cranks wern't cheap to begin with @£$%
