• Quick question (apologies in advance if it's silly):

    Spent ages fiddling with my SRAM Red YAW front mech and I think I've finally got it dialled in. I had the rear mech indexed and high / low limits set up fine before, but now want to swap the rear cable to make the loop larger. Will doing this now mess up the front mech set up at all? Can't see why it would. Just wanted to double check after spending so long working on it. All set up guides advise getting the rear set up before the front, so wanted to make sure.

    Because the FD set-up needs to take account of the chain when it's at either end of the cassette.

    You've already done that so it's not a problem: uncabling the RD won't affect the FD as long as you don't adjust the limit screws.
