I've ridden A40 flyover but the A40M is much further west ( too far for any forumengers to actually make it to, obvs) and that appears to be proper motorway shortly after.
I was told Hammersmith flyover was no bikes but I used the A4 to get into central London for years before I started using Uxbridge road.

The M2 is totally cycling friendly :)
