Oh :( sorry to hear. I wasn't actually going to mention anything but just so you don't feel left out, I had a burst water main + manhole cover combo today.
I had just peeled of Trafalgar Sq roundabout at about warp 9 heading towards Haymarket as I do every morning, but on this occasion I failed to dodge the wet road metal in front of me. It snatched my front wheel out and I was on the floor within a split second. I slid 15 yards on my knee and hand Moto GP style.

Hit my face on a car this morning.
A&E was quiet and it only needed glue rather than stitches so was out in an hour.
Bike is borked.
