+1 to what Grreenbank said. No fresh snow, but still pretty good conditions and full on sunshine. Skied a little local resort, Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets. All excellent.
Went for a cheeky last few hours on sat morning - already 2 inches of powder. Dragged ourselves away thinking we'd got through the snow and then got stuck on the mountain behind an accident. Needed snow chains to get out. Gridlock on all the motorways - so bad that people were building snowmen on the central reservation. 4 hours slower than planned, but well worth it.
Have eaten way too much tartiflette.
