Central Spring Classic
The weekend 14th/15march sees the Hemel Hempstead CC's 'Roy Thame Cup' and the Hounslow's Peter Young Memorial race. British Cycling Central Region has arranged that these two races will be linked by a prize for the best placed rider overall in the two events. This is the first time the races have been connected and so far, it has to be admitted, publicity for this award has not been great.
So now is your chance! There is still the rest of this week to get you entry in. I can tell you that although the Hounslow event already has a full field (but rider selection will not be decided before the closing date), the Hemel event is still undersubscribed.
N.B. The Hemel 'Spring Chicken' race already has way more than a full field, so you're too late for that one.
