Sit rep from the Porte du Soleil last week - much sun, snow getting patchy but largely plentiful. Bumps on the Chavanette are currently waist to chest-high at the top, but not too bad apart from the first 10m or so, which are badly cut up due to too many people side-slipping their way down.
