Maybe a silly question, but when bike touring with a tent, what do people do with their bikes when sleeping?
I cycled from Oxford to Paris, we fit 3 guys in a 2 person tent, with our bags, then took the front wheels off the bikes and put them upside down in the porch area before zipping up the entrance. Bit of a faff.
I'm planning on riding to Hamburg or Montpellier, possibly solo (or with a friend if I can drag anyone along), and just wondering about bike security. Tent is a Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2.
