Problem was I bought in cash. They were in wheel bags and he pulled out the rear which is good condition, I had no suspicion to tell him to show me the other as I thought I was covered by ebay but just found out I'm not as I paid by cash so exempt from protection.
I don't think they're likely to meet up with me to refund in cash and can't post as not covered by ebay. Looks like I'm stuck so anybody want to help me assess if it is damage or wear? How bad it is and how common? There are many different types of carbon rims and coverings, it doesn't like it has a lacquer. I have a zipp 440 but that is totally different sort of thing that is bombproof, this is dainty and lightweight
