A garage won't save your hog.
Only riding it on the roughly 3 days of the year with the appropriately low humidity etc and keeping it sealed in a sterile bubble the rest of the time might.
Seriously, mine pretty much fell apart within 2 years and it rarely got used in the wet. Chrome/polished metal surfaces showed corrosion within months of buying it.
