There's been campaigning for years to get a direct train line between Burnley and Manchester. It's finally happened and the line's been opened. However, there's a slight flaw that they don't actually have any trains to run on it. Popular opinion seems to be that it'll have to wait until some get changed down South and then they can have the cast-offs.
The pacers are shite, as well as being tiny they're also completely knackered.
