  • No i haven't sealed it, and I've used it in torrential downpours and i've stayed dry. A little water (just a few drops) pooled in the ground sheet, but I suspect that was condensation more than anything. I highly recommend it. I'll be using this on Tour Divide next year.

  • Interesting, cheers mate. I have spotted the LE version on a US site for about 115GBP, seems to have a tougher floor for a modest weight penalty. 788g apparently, so 100g penalty for more durability.

    Obviously that price is shipped to the US but I might be able to work something out, seems like a no-brainer at that price.

  • I suspect it's more than 100g heavier? as it'll be without poles. Not sure, but maybe. Still a great tent, and unless you are gram counting like me for the divide, another 100g for a more sturdy groundsheet is probably worth it anyway. The groundsheet on mine is very thin, but apparently surprisingly durable. It's also very slippery, so if you pitch on a slope, you slide.
