I have a 2gb card which may have a fair bit to do with it. But definitely worth checking out whether your Intel card is being defaulted to.
Go to nVidia control panel > 3D Settings > Manage 3D settings > Select Program Settings tab > Select Day Z > Select the preferred processor for this progamme > Select High Performance nVidia processor
The settings GeForce Experience provides me with(not sure they're quite phrased the same as in-game):
Ambient Occlusion: HBAO
Anti Aliasing Deferred: Off
Anti Aliasing Post: High
Display Mode: Full Screen
Effects Quality: Medium
Graphics Quality: Custom
Lighting Quality: Ultra
Mesh Quality: Medium
Post Process Quality: Ultra
Resolution: 1920x1080
Resolution Scale: 100
Terrain Decoration: Ultra
Terrain Quality: Ultra
Texture Filtering: Low
Texture Quality: Low
May need to fiddle a bit but worth the effort for sure.
It's like playing a different game. Gameplay is silky. Looks great.
