  • I know nothing about the details, but I've read that DayZ is just not set up to run efficiently on computer graphics cards/processors yet as it's still being developed. And will eventually be optimised, so that everyone should experience a significant improvement in their FPS/graphics.

    And the laptop which has very recently burnt a hole in my pocket has i7-4860 cpu, NVIDIA 870m graphics card, 16Gb RAM and only SSD storage. Oh yeah and a 3K resolution screen, which is probably a bit silly for a 14" laptop, and I keep having to fiddle with resolution stufff when i load up dayz, but i couldnt resist.

    Although the amount I paid I could have built a serious desktop gaming rig, but I really didnt want a desktop, not just yet.
