But the point about Scotland making off with no debt is a corker. It would be like you took out a joint mortgage with your partner who then said I want out of this, no more mortgage payments for me but by the way I do plan to keep on living in the house.

Currently working in a library and studying again soon. Plenty of time for educating my southern brethren on the actualities of events going on where I am instead of leaving them at the mercy of the BBC.
Most of all I care because you 're (mostly) good people and yet I'm hearing some very negative, quite hurtful views based on not much other than prejudice.
Argue about the economics, sure, with this is not motivated by nationalism, racism, or antiquated idealism. We want democracy and equality and if a side effect of this is that the UK becomes federalised so that everyone has a better share of power and responsibility I'll be delighted.
