Just thought I'd mention Six Moon Designs on here. I have the Lunar Solo, it's a single skin tarp tent, it has a bug net, ground sheet bathtub and has kept me dry in torrential rain up on Dartmoor no problems.

I got the pole from http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/pages/contact.html, just get in touch with Stu and tell him it's for the Lunar Solo, he knows what size to do. And Pegs from Alpkit.
The whole lot weighs in at 650g I think. No need for a bivvy then, just mat and lightweight 3 season sleeping bag. It's what I'll use on Tour Divide.
Here's mine.
@gabes how tall are you? Would that sleep a 6ft-er?
I'm 5'7, but there's loads of room. The site states it's 90" floor, that's 7'6" I think. So you should fit.
