Spent a good 4hrs on Saturday with cable routing issues, fiddling with the 6800 front mech (which has no limiter screws?!), very gingerly sawing the steerer a few inches shorter, then having to faff around with a stuck expander bung...
Got it home and eventually found an hour spare last night to sort the Lizard Skin bar tape out which seemed pretty tricky compared with previous wrappings I've had to do in the past. So bloody comfortable though once I'd got it right.
Anyway, it's finally completed and I'm seriously happy with how it's turned out.
Climbing wheels, a handmade, very stiff frame, full ultegra, Deda finishing kit and weighs in at 7.5kg. Think I've managed an alright build for quite a bit short of the original budget.
Maybe I'll get some deeper carbon/alloy clinchers at some point but until then here it is:
