If Froome has done his scaphoid, which is possible considering how he went down, the fracture will not show on x rays for at least 7 days. I know this because it happened to me. I never got visual confirmation confirmation it was broken until ironically it had healed 2 months later.
So chances are nobody, including his doctor actually knows if his wrist is broken and wont know until next week.
If he started that with a broken scaphoid then he is one hard bastard; holding the bars would have been just awful. Bad idea too cos the blood supply to the scaphoid is poor and if it's disrupted then healing can be poor.
