Why an Alleycat?
An Alleycat is a scatter rally - you don't need to be fast, it's all about route planning and knowing your town. You'll need to plan your route to as many of the checkpoints that you think you can make in the time given, some will be manned and you'll need to get a signature or a stamp, some will will need you to solve a puzzle or answer a question. The important thing is that you'll get to see Southend in a different light from the comfort of 2 wheels. You can go in teams if you want, it's up to you.
An alleycat is a fast paced puzzle/checkpoint ride. Riders are given a sheet of clues and questions and a map of the town, and must answer as many of the questions correctly as possible, as quickly as possible..
The winner is the person who makes it back to the finishing post with the most answers right. If two people have the same amount of correct answers, the one who makes it back first gets the prize.
