Thanks for the concern and wishes everyone. I had a nurse, a paramedic and an off duty doctor turn up to look after me and ensure I was in a safe position due to possible neck/spinal injury, all of whom were excellent. The doctor and the police were getting quite angry about the lack of ambulance though.
I very happy to report that at no point did I die, I was just very, very still.
I can also confirm that laptops can assist in breaking your fall, mine has my spine imprints to attest to this!
