A2 Product Design Primary Research, 9 questions (indoor bike mount/parking facility)

I'd leave the thread open - there are more people out there who might suggest stuff that works better...

Incidentally,

1. Do you ride to work or school/uni?
   not any more (age profile...)

   1. What type of bicycle do you ride (please state all if more than one)?
      modified (10 speed+racks+mudguards) BMX
      80's Raleigh 'racer'

   2. Do you think there is a lack of facilities for parking bicycle in workplace or at school/uni?
      Yes

   3. Do you think parking bicycles(with lock) outdoor is save?
      depends where - in public view etc, possibly.

   4. Have you had any experience of bike theft (whole bike or partly)?
      Yes. Caught him in the act. Got a police caution for demonstrating why the bastard shouldn't touch my stuff.

6.If you had a choice, would you park your bicycle indoor or outdoor?

Indoors. English weather etc.

7.Do you think bicycles can fit into an indoor environment?

Only in a suitably adapted space

8.If you saw a bicycle in your office or classroom, would you think its an eyesore?

Eyesore, no. Temptation for stupidity on the part of students, yes.

9.Is there any pointless massive pin board in your workplace or classroom with shit decoration?

Shit decoration, no. Informative exemplar material and statutory notices, yes. Demand higher quality pictures with captions explaining the relevance to your group's work, but realise there is often a pointless imperative from senior staff for 'display work'. Offer to take over one of these spaces for a D&T group mood board and then be prepared to police it for inappropriate material and graffiti...
