    Extend question 2 to request a separate response for each bike owned - that way you maximize the useable information from each willing participant.

    Check question 4 for typing errors - they reduce credibility.

    Lose question 9 (and possibly 8) - they fall outside any possible design brief for a rack.

    Include something pertinent about wheel size/ tyre section or possibly frame size so that your primary research can be positively linked to a technical aspect of your product rather than simply establishing need or trends in bike type.

    Do this soon so that the few people who have already responded won't think you have wasted their time - possibly refer to the above as an 'alpha' version of your survey - you'll something like 100 or more responses for your survey to carry any credibility.

    You may not agree with this - I'm only basing it on teaching and marking AQA GCE Design & Technology since 1997...
