I don't dispute that Vittoria say they're directional, I'm saying there'll be no measurable difference in running them the 'wrong' way round.

Why do you want to flip the wheel anyway? HH and LV velodromes do not allow flip flop hubs or having another sprocket on the other side.
The tyres wear off mainly from centreline to left hand side due to going anti-clockwise at HH so would benefit from being 'flipped' once wear is visible to use the other side of the tyre.
Tubs are on my Campagnolo Pista wheels so I would need to unglue the tub and reglue it the other way around in order to use the other half of the tyre.
