They seem to pass the ball around... manufacturers blame shops for not facing the BB shell... shops blame customers for poor cleaning, inappropriate storage and bad weather
I think the problem is at the source: the system was not designed with longevity in mind, it should have been marketed for racing and not as a panacea for all cyclists
