It has removed the paint where its been in the scuttle... If you wanted to remove the rest of the paint then I've got a gallon of dichloromethane paint stripper you can throw at it.. Wont take long to remove whats left.
Armourtex would be your easiest option i guess. I think they dip it first then cook off any residue..
