"Oh Shit" moments...

Was riding fast downhill while the ground was a bit moist and as I was going into a hard corner, felt the bike lose a bit of traction (was going a bit too fast and cornering too hard), had a tiny wobble, regained control but was too late and ended up kissing a lampost/railings on that corner -- face first.

Could be worse - 20 years ago I crashed into some railings with pointy spikey tops and ended up impaling my face on them. 14 stitches, and still an impressive crescent-shaped scar on my right jawline.
