Just to echo Oliver's comments about Tony Wedgewood Benn, he was such an inspiring speaker ... amazing. I must have heard him at demos and events a few times over the years but I remember very clearly him speaking with such infectious passion at Trafalgar Sq in about Feb 1991 at a campaign event to make discrimination on the grounds of disability illegal - one of the last groups to be legislated for in this way.
