Hey guys,
I'm building a single speed (with brakes) and wondering about gear ratios. I normally ride a nippy steel audax with 39-50 double crankset..
I've read a few threads about preferred gear ratios but I can't find much explanation about why each is preferred.. My legs are pretty good and I'm looking for a pretty rapid set-up that's good for fast commuting in London. Not fussed by skid patches as will have brakes.
Any help appreciated
