I'm guessing you're 16, Ollie? Yeah 46/16 is a bit high for young knees.
With a new build if I get a 46t crankset, I'll probably run it with a 17t or 18t cog. 46/19 will be too spinny.
If I get a 48t crankset, I'll probably run it with a 18t or 19t cog. (19t is preferable)
If I get a 49t crankset, I'll probably run it with a 18t or 19t cog. (19t also preferable)
