Isn't the Greenway still closed by the Olympic stadium? Not a great inconvenience if it is; head down canal to Bow roundabout, turn left.

The Greenway reopens today, so ignore what I said earlier in the thread. I'm still in; hangover dependent.

Is the route OK for Sunday best bikes or is it better to bring something less precious?

There is a few short gravelly sections but majority paved..
so if it hasn't been raining too much in preceding days should be fine.

On the other hand, I haven't been down the river path south side in a while, who knows what building shenanigans have been going on.

There was an altercation with a taxi that pulled out across half the ride and Gary the cabby (+ his son) defied stereotypes by managing to run a few hundred metres after they stopped and got out. Then we explained why they were cunts and they left after a bit.

Basically that but with more shouting.

I didn't wreck anything, thanks, the first one was an epic drift round an icy corner that ended badly and the second was a sick bunnyhop with a cobbled landing that went wrong. So both pretty retarded/totally rad/entirely due to my own stupidity.
