Why eurosport can't see that. I'd complain if I were dan or other guests, he's always luring them into making brash comments via his dimwitted questions.
Oh and I agree. I'm impressed at how the co-presenters have mostly managed not to have a dig at him yet. They must think hes a right plonker.

Jesus, Skinny - get over it: Eurosport is still fucking Eurosport - it's not ProCycling Television FFS.

The role of the presenter is to make it palatable to the general public. See ITV for pointers. If you don't like it, turn the sound off.

No no.

ITV is for the public. Eurosport is for the cyclist.

No, it isn't. It's fucking telly! Nothing on TV would bother being that niche - it would be worth nothing in advertising.
Less than 10% (and that's probably being generous) of the viewers will know anything about cycling. The Tour is, and always will be a giant marketing fair for bored housewives and the general public.

I'd personally rather see interesting, smart questions put to the experienced guests they have. So I can learn more.
No silly, luringly daft questions that viewers just balk at.

Chris and Ned do this very well. So I watch it on itv!

He was ill last year. He's been performing in smaller races for a while. Not in bigger ones so consistently. He's just on form right now and doing well with it.

Fuck sake, arguing about a commentator on Eurosport is more tedious than the constant Froome must be doping discussion.

Walk away from the forum and read this if you like discussing doping, this if you want to talk about actual science or this if you just want to shoot zombies.

He's also by far the biggest rider in the peloton. (Magnus Backstedt is retired right)

Time for some of the others to step up to the plate. Lopez has been anonymous so far in this Tour, so maybe they are saving him for the Alps?

If it were Wiggins leading the team, it would be more of an issue, but Froome is more versatile in the mountains, and doesn't need a steady stream of domestiques to set the pace for him.

Maybe Garmin might, maybe not.

Was thinking the other day how Movistar seemed to be doing some old school shit shovelling for Tacky Saxo Wank or whatever they're called.

I guess it all still goes on.

Any explanation about what happened to Kiriyenka? He was pulling most of the way on climbs at Crit Int and Dauphine. Siutsou notable by his absence as well.

From what I've read, Kiriyenka was the main impetus in the chase to bring Porte back to the front group on Sunday and over did it.

Siutsou looked immense in the one race I saw of him (I think crit. intl.). Did a huge turn on the front in a mountain stage and shelled almost everyone out the back. Surprised not to have seen him smashing it more in this tour.

I think he was working early hours in the races, covering breaks etc. all the heavy shit they fail to show on TV, when the pace is fucking hot.
