The early bird price of £20 per ticket runs til 1 June after which it will go up to £30.

^mm thanks for going to all the effort of this coach business. These are the kind of tricks that make cycling in England fucking awesome. If I were wise I would buy one myself. I still may do.

Other FCLIMRTAB-ers: getting a £20 early bird ticket is no bad idea.

As a new person to DD, I found it hard to comprehend those with high powered lights (particularly front lights) who set them to stroboscopic fit-induction modes... Could have been cool to mention, in your notes, that it may be stressfull to other riders when in the pitch-dark.

i have turned my night riding light to flashing at points on long rides when it isn't that dark, or when there is streetlights- to save the battery.

Would be very weird to do this in the pitch black though.

Hmmm, but strong lights do serve a very good purpose.

Would it be enough to ask that people are considerate of others when using high-powered strobe lights and only use these when necessary, ie when it is pitch black?

What do others think? I know some people rely on other people's light to guide them in places.

Goggles would be fun but lights are as much, if not more, about other road users seeing you as you seeing them and your way.

Not only it's annoying, it's fucking useless when all you need is a reasonable constant light.

high powered does not allowed your eyes to the dark, lower = better (well as low as you can go without compromising yourself).

rear light I find more of a problem really.

The Dulwich Dynamo was run several times a few years ago. I don't think it clashed with the Dunwich Dynamo, though.

No, you're not a tw*t Skully!

... but by no means a complaint about people having efficient and illuminating gadgets. I think I really good front light is worth having. There were some riding last year that have car-like strength lights, good for them and others who wish to ride with them.

Alex maybe this is just food for thought. Perhaps it's a bit didactic to suggest you put it in your notes.
