| | Alex As a new person to DD, I found it hard to comprehend those with high powered lights (particularly front lights) who set them to stroboscopic fit-induction modes... Could have been cool to mention, in your notes, that it may be stressfull to other riders when in the pitch-dark. Am I being a twat? PS Ticket just bought! Great work, thanks. |

Would be very weird to do this in the pitch black though.

| | Hmmm, but strong lights do serve a very good purpose. Would it be enough to ask that people are considerate of others when using high-powered strobe lights and only use these when necessary, ie when it is pitch black? What do others think? I know some people rely on other people's light to guide them in places. No, you're not a tw*t Skully! |

high powered does not allowed your eyes to the dark, lower = better (well as low as you can go without compromising yourself). rear light I find more of a problem really.

| | Just bought two tickets, for Mr Cake and myself. Really looking forward to this ride, I wanted to do it last year, but hadn't sorted out return transport so didn't do it. Got through to the thank you page, just to note, there's a typo on it, but I think everyone knows what you mean. Quote:

| | If the Dunwich Dynamo is too tame there's always this: http://dalstondynamo.tumblr.com/ (Which seems to involve more beer) |

Alex maybe this is just food for thought. Perhaps it's a bit didactic to suggest you put it in your notes.
