There have been exhibition races of "Girl's Keirin" since 2008 and they're bringing back a women's Keirin league this summer.

I guess they get coloured spoks and discs for the exhibition races because they're using UCI rules as it's supposed to be helping women's track cycling in Japan, partly in preparation for the Olympics. And because it looks awesome.

Not that I know of really, Live & Ride in LA was the lamest thing I've ever seen, there are films about messengers and that kind of thing which might satisfy your appetite for skids (Fast Friday and Red Light Go are ok) but won't offer much HHSB action. Just keep rewinding those two?

yeah, more after the near 100% riding films that take inspiration from bmx/skate videos really. Not too keen on the hyped-up "i ride fixed to feel more connected to my bike, it makes me feel alive blah blah.." stuff. Think I'll give fast friday a go first
