Decent enough, about 200 people. We only did one circuit, though, which felt a little anticlimactic.

Would cyclists be willing to wear advertising while commuting to help fund improvements to the road network across London? I would be willing to wear advertising if I thought it would make my journey safer.

We could probably fit some more advertising on our bikes, like F1 cars.

I will be happy to publish a price list if anybody would like to advertise on me and / or my HHSB

Why should my safety on the road have to be bought by turning me into a fast moving billboard? How about we plaster cars with adverts to pay for it instead?

LondonersOnBikes are running a load of rides over this coming weekend to get publicity material out to bikeshops. Designated as 'Tour Des Bikeshops' (I had no hand in the naming) there are about 10 tours all around London. If anyone feels like joining us on them, it would be greatly appreciated.

That is more of an environmental protest rather thana specific cycling protest.

Thanks, Toby. We're actually very well aware of that sort of issue. Just like those advocates in the US, we give recommendations, no more. Implementation and detailed sign-off is always entirely the task of paid and qualified professionals. Not only does this mean that qualified people do the job, but it also saves us a lot of work. :)

I'm just glad that the guy making the complaint got what he deserved. Normally I like to think engineers create value and lawyers aren't interested in anything but money!

I like the sound of Bike Hour - Tuesday, March 20, 2012
6:00pm until 7:00pm

Quote:

http://cycle-space.com/?p=8793

It’s like Earth Hour, only more useful. It’s like a critical mass ride, only effective. The world’s biggest, completely unorganised, mass cycling rally will happen wherever you are, on Tuesday March 20, between 6 and 7 pm. Why? Because you will be riding your bike.

Come on people! Let's get together and make a revolution of an amazing nature, even if you are not a regular cyclist you can always: RIDE MORE! DRIVE LESS!

Spread the word and invite as many people as you can! :)
