Hi everyone,
Iíve just sorted out another lot of interesting frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.

ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL

Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:

http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html

for details of what is available.

Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%Ö

If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...

Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

HENRY BURTON ROAD FRAME 1980s ** New Old Stock**
Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 48mm)
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame Tubing: Tange Champion
This is a a really nice unused road frame built for Henry Burtonís Stafford shop I should think in the 1980s Ė it is built from Tange Champion tubing which is of very similar quality to Reynolds 531C. Unfortunately the paint has a number of scrapes but these could be touched with care. It would make a very easy conversion. £95

VIKING IAN STEEL ROAD FRAME 1960s Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 23in (58cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 118mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 64mm
Seatpost size: 26.6mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
This Viking Ian Steel frame has been very nicely repainted and has been unused since but it has a few small marks. The forks I think are not original. Its built from Reynolds 531 tubing. But whatever itís a very attractive cool frame which could easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed. £89

CARLTON ROAD FRAME 1983 Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 60mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Carlton road frame dates from 1983 and is I think the Carlton equivalent of the Raleigh RRA frame. Its in very sound condition and would make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £74

VENTURA MIXTE FRAME 1980s ** New Old Stock**
Seat Tube (ctc): 51cm (20in)
Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 55mm
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
This is an unused part-mixte style frame built in Belgium in I think the early 1980s. Its not been used but has been partially built up. It comes complete with headset. Its an extremely attractive frame which could be used as a singlespeed or fixed very easily. £95

CLAUD BUTLER HOLDSWORTH?
Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21in (53cm)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 60mm
Seatpost size: 26.6mm
Frame tubing: almost certainly Reynolds 531
This road frame is decaled up as a Holdsworth on the frame tubes with a Claud Butler head tube decal. What it is actually is I am not certain though it could easily be from the Holdsworthy factory. It looks as if its built from Reynolds 531 plain gauge tubing taking a 26.6mm seatpost. Its in very sound condition and the horizontal dropouts will make this an easy conversion. £68

LARGE NONAME TOURING FRAME 1980s Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 24.5in (62.25cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
This is a large touring frame built in the late 1980s from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing. It has braze-ons for cantilever brakes and racks front and rear. The frame is in very sound condition but does really need a repaint. I do not know what make it is but it has English BB threads and will build up into a great tourer Ė ones these large are not common. £83

MOSER ROAD FRAME 1980s French built Vitus 172 tubing
Seat Tube (ctc): 60cm (23.75in)
Top Tube (ctc): 58.5cm (23.25in)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 57mm
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
Frame tubing: Vitus 172 tubing
This is a Moser road frame built in France - I think it dates from the 1970s before Moser set up his own factory building frames. Its in sound condition though the paint itself is well scrartched and marked. Vitus 172 tubing is quite a bit better quality tubing than the standard gaspipe used on budget frames and the forged long rear dropouts make it ideal as a budget conversion to fixeed or singlespeed. £49

CYCLOCROSS FRAME 1980s Probably Belgian built
Seat Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Probably Reynolds 531 double butted
This is a rather nice Cyclocross frame which came from Belgium Ė it has a rather neat slightly curved seat tube and is obviously very good quality though the forks do not seem to be so nicely made. Whatever it would make an ideal beginners cross frame... £79

1950s/60s ROAD FRAME Round forks
Seat Tube (ctt): 24in (61cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Rear dropout width: 115mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with a brake drop of 60mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Bottom Bracket threads: English
This 1950s frame was sold to me as a Freddie Grubb Ė I am sure its not, the frame number is quite wrong and I am sure its built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing Ė most Grubbs of this period are built from plain gauge 531... Whatever itís a nicely constructed frame which is in very sound condition and would easily be built into an excellent fixed or singlespeed conversion. £89

Hi Hilary, I'm a new member so I can't pm you due to the whole anti-spam thing but I'm in Bristol and recently got my 531st Dawes Galaxy run over by a Land Rover, so am on the lookout for a replacement touring frame. I'm after something about 23-24" and the noname tourer above looks perfect.

Is it still available and if not, do you have any similar framesets on offer at the moment?
