I thought that, probably a little dearer at the convenience of not waiting for it to be on sale too. Looks alright.

Hi there, I'm not sure if it's just the angle of the picture, or whether the front fork is bent back (as would happen in a head on collision with something).
It's obviously quite important to check as if it is actually damaged the structural integrity may be comprimised and therefore dangerous to ride for whoever buys it, and should be sold stating that it's unfit to ride.

Doesn't look great, the angle/line of the drops suggest the wheel should be inline, unless that's set up wrong.

If the wheels survived the impact they're worth about 60 alone. But the forks, at least, are fucked.

I'm guessing by the fact the tyre seems to be touching the dt, that it's bent as fook and nobody should be riding that shit...

.....as it stands the auction has not reached any where near its worth and though it has over 40 watchers i am not sure it will reach the 1,500 that i require (or something close)as it is advertised elsewhere i also have viewings this evening.I thank you for your interest and wish you luck in the auction and will apologise in advance that no reserve on it,as soon as i realised i had not set one i tried to amend listing but as it had already had a bid i could not alter it
kind regards

Dream on!!!

He better brace himself for negative feedback, I'm pretty sure he's left it too late to withdraw it now.

Tel, where does it say that? Was that a private message?

The epic TT bike auction is Manolo Saiz (dodgy Spanish team manager) personal collection.

Might be raising cash for his Operation Puerto defence costs;)

Looking at this I think I'll probably stop watching... And isn't it against ebay rules to arrange viewings AFTER the bidding has ended???

Also, that stuff about nopt being able to add a reserve is a load of deer manure

It finishes in 4 mins. 5 bids and still reserve not met at $51,000 with a bid retraction of $70,000. Also looks like they are holding private viewing etc etc etc. Looks a very strange operation to me.

From the description its a Cassette freehub, so AFAIK- no.
Worth finding out for certain- as the screw on type can be converted with an after-market kit from HED.
(Again AFAIK- not done it myself)

pick up from newcastle = hassle +70 train ticket with a railcard (last time i went)
For a bike with a real garish colour scheme, although it is a bloody nice bike apart from that

If he'she offered postage they would have got a lot more money for a bit of hassle
