| | anyone used this place on the cut? http://www.dress2kill.com/home had a suit made there a couple of months ago. love it. they do various deals depending on the cloth. the really cheap ones aren't really bespoke they just take a couple of measurements then send you the result. fully bespoke ones start from about £450 and they do as many fittings and adjustments as you want. went for heavy-ish charcoal herringbone from a range that was £500 for a 2 piece with handmade shirt and extra pair of trousers. i swapped the extra trousers for a 5 button waistcoat with a cloth back (i'll get more trousers later). absolutely love it. |

| | Which cunt said that?? Funny actually, I was wearing my NC coat @ Pitti and I was on the NC stand and he came over to me, "Nice coat that mate" knowing it was his Then he gave me all his sales patter, "My fabrics this, only made in Japan or England that...." I thought, "Oh really, is that right?". I was gonna show him the 'Made In China' label on the inside but didn't wanna mug him off in front of industry bigwigs CSB >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> |

| | Re the Sart dinner video: Due to the editing I keep expecting Scott to tell the others to "shut the fuck while I'm talking". Also I went through some of Kanye's past work and there is some decent stuff there. It's easy to be stained by a single action so I'm willing to cut the pleb some slack. | | Oh God. Not a pea I don't think. That is definitely not a good colour on me and it's a size too big. Vicki also looks dreadful with her chav make-up and facial expression! Not sure about the coat TBH. The fit seems like an original vintage rather than an updated 'fashion'/slim fit. I wasn't a fan of the copper-coloured hardware or either of the colours I saw, but overall the quality and detailing was ace. Ventile is a good bet. Not sure but that was possibly a prototype? Some of the pics I've seen since look more betterer. |

| | ^Key word there is budget. M&S do mad good value stuff but you need to go to one of their big stores to find it. Mid-range - honestly pop down to one of the big department stores in town - Liberty,Selfridges etc - probably a bit late for the sales but you might get lucky. Higher end, consider getting something made. Bespoke doesn't have to be ridiculously expensive. If you go to Savile Row, then yeah, you're going to be talking 2,500 for an entry level fabric and cut, but there are any number of tailors in London who will do a great job for a fifth of that price. http://www.chriskerr.com/home.html I met this guy recently and really liked his stuff but had already committed elsewhere. As to what to get, Mr Porter says: Quote:
