At the moment I'm following a 1st aid course, because my employer needs more people with 1st aid certificate. They pay it all and compensate the hours. No bad. In total, it's 15 to 20 times 2 hours or so. And you've got to come back every year 6 or 7 times. Here you can follow such a course in every single town. Groups of 20 - 25 people I guess. | |

| | Cycle Training UK are running an accredited First Aid course on 9 January 2012 from 09:00 until 16:00. We are located at SE16 4DG - a mile or so from London Bridge station. The cost is £75 per person - just about half the cost of St John's. Even if you don't expire for 6 months or so then this is still a bargain and it is a little more focused on the issues confronting a cycling instructor. If you're interested get in touch this week - Before the 16th of Dec or in early Jan - we re-open on the week of the Tuesday 3rd and could probably take bookings up to the 6th.
