I know this was mentioned back in October but are there plans to update the calendar so it shows all events/rides published?

Also, is there a reason SE beers aren't listed?

No to the first, I should remove the Google calendars instead so that people use the searches built in.

And calendars have not been maintained... use the navigation at the top, SE Beers is on that.

No.

2 spam related reasons:
1) Technical: The LFGSS emails are now domain signed, and when an email is sent through the system that says "from: someone@notlfgss.com" it thinks it's spam.
2) Traceability: Some spam was going through the email system and I had no visibility of it and couldn't stop it without intrusively monitoring it.

So to basically prevent spam that was going through, and to prevent normal emails from being marked as spam, I disabled it.

on the next version could the ignore function completely hide the posts of the people on ignore

i know that some discussions may then appear a little disjointed but as a person with not much impulse control, it would be better not to have posts visible with the unignore option next to them.

^ I think this would be better. It has been asked for before. I think the temptation is just too much at times. If I want to see what that person posts then I'd remove then from ignore.
Just having the option to 'view this post' removed would be good.
